The Volkswagen Atlas has been VW’s first swing in a three-row midsize SUV, along with the automaker hauled it from the park. Its roomy cottage and comfy ride helped put it around the package’s surface as it erupted in 2018.
But new opponents and a fast-evolving economy mean Volkswagen believes the need to offer you some upgrades to maintain the Atlas brand new.

While its foundation lookup motor is underpowered when there’s a complete load of freight and people, the optional V-6 offers acceptable motivation but lacks in fuel efficiency: the V-6–driven Atlas within our long-term evaluation fleet averaged 19 mpg.
Driver-assistance tech is available, with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, blind-spot tracking, back cross-traffic alert all conventional.
What is New to 2020?
As it had been an all-new version for 2018, not a whole lot has changed to its 2020 Atlas.
The SE with Tech has 20-inch brakes, the SE with Tech R-Line understands a foot-activated liftgate, and rear parking sensors, along with the SEL Premium has 21-inch wheels.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

Although the Atlas quite sauntered from zero to 60 miles within our testing–7.9 seconds to an all-wheel-drive V-6 version and 7.2 minutes to get a four-cylinder front-wheel-drive one–outside on the street, it seldom feels underpowered.
While it’s not as enjoyable to drive as the Mazda CX-9, the Atlas reacts to steering inputs rather than feels awkward. It’s written on the street and feels nimble in town.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
The Atlas’s fuel-economy ratings are not revolutionary with this type of big-box household haulers, but its real operation is not far away from the section’s fuel sippers.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
Family-friendly inside area, a simple layout of its controllers, along with an overabundance of cupholders, create the Atlas a sensible option, even among other exceptionally functional rivals.
